The dissident MLAs were transported to the Radisson Blu hotel in three Assam State Transport Corporation luxury buses with police escorting them after they landed at the Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati.
A total of 70 hotel rooms have reportedly been reserved for a week at a cost of Rs 56 lakh.
The anticipated daily cost of meals and other services is Rs 8 lakh (Rs 56 lakh for seven days), bringing the total cost for the seven days to Rs 1.12 crore.
The MLAs led by Shinde checked into a hotel in Surat of Gujarat, late on Monday. On Wednesday morning, they took a flight to Guwahati.
According to reports, the price of the entire “operation” will include chartered flights and other transportation arrangements in addition to unspecified additional costs.
Shinde uploaded images and videos of himself with 42 MLAs from the hotel on Thursday as a show of force, causing Chief Minister and Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray extra difficulties.
