Assam: Accused Escapes Custody; Triggers Manhunt in Sipajhar
Guwahati, 19th June: In a startling development, Kulen Nath, arrested on the night of Monday, June 17 on charges related to land brokering, has managed to escape from custody at Sipajhar police station. The escape of Nath has prompted an immediate and intensive search operation launched by local law enforcement.
Following his escape, authorities have registered a case at the Sipajhar police station under case number 94/2024. The incident has put local authorities on high alert, with efforts focused on locating and apprehending the absconding suspect.
Police are currently engaged in a widespread manhunt to ensure the swift recapture of Kulen Nath and to prevent any further disruptions to law and order in the area.
