Assam: Active ULFA-I Cadre Surrenders in Tinsukia
Guwahati, 3rd November: An active member of the United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) surrendered in Tinsukia district of Assam on November 3.
The surrendered member has been identified as Polash Moran, as per sources.
Reportedly, Moran made the decision to surrender voluntarily and did so in the presence of senior Tinsukia Police officials at the Philobari area.
He had previously fled from the ULFA camp and had joined the militant organization back in 2019.
Moran originates from Nalni village in the Pengeri area of Tinsukia.
