Assam: AIUDF Chief Badruddin Ajmal Advises Muslims to Avoid Travel During Ram Temple Consecration

Guwahati, 6th Jan: At a foundation stone laying ceremony for a Madrasa in Baghbor’s Kadamtala, Assam, All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) chief Badruddin Ajmal stirred controversy by urging Muslims to refrain from traveling between January 20-25 during the consecration of the Ram Temple. Ajmal claimed that the BJP, whom he labeled as the biggest enemy of Muslims, was organizing the program, and it was better for the Muslim community to stay away.

He specifically mentioned avoiding travel plans, including train, bus, car, etc., during the period when Lord Ram’s idol would be placed in the garba griha. Ajmal asserted that Muslims have been suffering in the country for a long time.

During the event, Ajmal also criticized the Congress, stating that it was the grand old party that initiated the National Register of Citizens (NRC) and the D-voter system. He added that Muslims tend to forget the promises made by Congress after voting for them. Ajmal’s comments have sparked reactions and discussions regarding their appropriateness and potential impact.
