Assam: Ambulance Collides with Dumper Truck in Narayanpur, Five Injured

At least five individuals, including a child, sustained injuries in a head-on collision between an ambulance and a dumper truck at Block Tiniali, Narayanpur. The incident occurred when the ambulance, bearing the registration number ‘AS 01-BY-0131,’ was transporting a dead body from Tezpur’s Times Medical to Lakhimpur.

The force of the collision caused significant damage to the front of the ambulance, injuring all five passengers inside. Local sources reported that the victims, including a child, were swiftly transported to Lakhimpur Medical College Hospital (LMCH) for urgent treatment. Thankfully, no fatalities were recorded.

Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances leading to the crash, with the wreckage of the ambulance reflecting the severity of the impact. All injured individuals are now receiving medical care at LMCH.
