Guwahati: In a massive operation, huge cache of arms and ammunition has been seized in Udalguri district along the Assam-Arunachal border.
The recovery was made by Majbat police after a massive search operation in the early hours of Saturday.
The weapons were seized from Shikaridanga area no. 2 of Majbat of the district.
During the operation, a Russian-made SKS semi-automatic rifle, a pistol, 43 rifle bullets and 62 pistol bullets were recovered.
No one was arrested in this regard till the time filling this report.
Further investigation is underway.
