An idol maker from Dhubri, has made a idol Durga murti from just using tablets and other medical products.
Sanjib Basak has spent about two months to create the idol of Goddess Durga using over 30,000 expired capsules and syringes. The inspiration came to Basak while engaging in COVID-19 Pandemic duty when he saw everyone’s dependency on medicines and other pharmaceuticals.
Basak has intent behind the usage of tablets. He wanted to spread the message of utilizing the waste and expired parts to maintain ecological balance in nature.
