
Assam: Bajali District Girls and Gohpur District Boys Clinch Victory at 58th Junior Volleyball Trophy Finals
Assam: The 58th Junior Volleyball Trophy finals held on Sunday saw dominating performances from the Bajali District girls’ team and the Gohpur District boys’ team, both winning their respective matches in straight sets with a 3-0 victory.
The event, organized by the Assam Volleyball Association, Goalpara Municipal Chairman Sri Mahananda Pathak, and the Goalpara Volleyball Reception Committee, showcased impressive athleticism and teamwork from both the winning teams.
The Bajali District girls’ team emerged victorious in their final, defeating their opponents with ease. The highlight of the award ceremony was Jonali Boro, who was honored with the Best Player award for her exceptional performance. The award was presented by Sri Mahananda Pathak, Goalpara Municipal Chairman and Volleyball Reception Committee President, along with Shri Deepak Nath, Secretary of the Goalpara Sports Association.
In the boys’ final, Gohpur District’s team mirrored the girls’ success, securing a 3-0 win over their rivals. Their dominance on the court was matched by individual brilliance, as Jonali Boro was again recognized for her stellar play, earning the Best Player award of the match. The awards were presented by Pathak and Nath, further highlighting the exceptional talent displayed by the players.
The tournament concluded with both Bajali District and Gohpur District emerging as champions, with the performances of players like Jonali Boro earning well-deserved recognition.
