Guwahati: A Bangladeshi national has been arrested by Police in Cachar district of Assam on Monday.
The Cachar Police and Paltan Bazaar Police together trapped the Bangladeshi national from the Gumrah area on Monday.
The arrestee has been identified as Eyasin Arafat alias Masood, a resident of Bangladesh’s Sylhet district.
According to reports, Eyasin was residing in Cachar’s Gumrah for a very long time.
An investigation has been launched in relation to the incident.
