In some cases it feels like some criminals are taking advantage of the weakness of the country’s judicial system due to which there is a growing trend of crime in the society. The government which has given the slogan ‘Beti Padhao Beti Padhao’ has failed to provide security to the women and young women of the country. Being born a woman seems to be a weakness in today’s time. This time one such incident has occurred in Goalpara. One of the leaders of the ruling government has fallen victim to the atrocities in Goalpara.
BJP worker Jonali Nath was the victim of a brutal murder. The body was found near National Highway 17 at Salpara in Krishnai on Sunday night. The body of Jonali Nath, an active BJP worker from Goalpara district was found near National Highway 17 in Shalpara, Krishnai, triggering a fear among peple in the area.
Locals suspect that some miscreants raped and killed her. Locals informed the Goalpara police about the incident after which Goalpara police reached the spot. Police reached the spot and recovered Jonali Nath’s body and took her to Krishnai police station. And subsequently sent the body to civil hospital in Goalpara for postmortem.
It is to be noted that it is not yet known who killed and dumped her. The details will be known only after a police investigation. But the suspicion that he was raped and murdered has created a stir. The district BJP leadership has demanded a proper probe into the incident and stringent punishment for the culprits.
According to reports, Jonali Nath was spotted by locals at a market near Matia after leaving Matia’s house on Sunday afternoon. But the fact that her body was found at night which has shocked everyone.
A police investigation into the incident is underway.
