Assam: BJP Leader Dies in Tragic Road Accident in Bongaigaon

Guwahati, 12th August: In a devastating turn of events, Lubhas Burman, Vice-President of the Bongaigaon district unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), was killed in a road accident in Kakaijana, Bongaigaon on August 12. Burman was riding his scooty when a speeding vehicle, registered AS 26 C 8739, struck him. The collision was severe, resulting in his immediate death at the scene.

Authorities responded promptly to the incident, seizing the vehicle involved. The untimely death of Lubhas Burman has cast a pall of grief over the region and his party, as the community and his colleagues mourn the loss of their esteemed leader.
