Assam: BJP Strategizes Youth Outreach in Dhubri Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections

Guwahati, 25th February: In a bid to secure victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Assam Rajya Sabha MP Pabitra Margherita, in charge of the Dhubri Lok Sabha Constituency, spearheaded a meeting at the newly inaugurated BJP office in Dhubri. The gathering aimed to devise strategies to engage and appeal to the younger demographic, particularly first-time voters.

Margherita minced no words in targeting AIUDF supremo Badrudin Ajmal, accusing him of resorting to communal politics to maintain his political relevance in Dhubri. Asserting the BJP’s resolve, Margherita emphasized their readiness to confront Ajmal and his associates with full force, signaling a fierce electoral battle in the constituency.

Addressing a subsequent press conference, Margherita underscored the BJP’s commitment to inclusive development, citing initiatives like the Basundhara 2.0 scheme, aimed at providing land rights and financial assistance to landless families. He highlighted various developmental schemes undertaken by both Central and state governments, echoing the BJP’s mantra of “Sab Ka Saath Sabka Vikas.”

Margherita expressed optimism regarding the BJP’s growing support among indigenous communities, including Muslim populations. He emphasized the party’s inclusive ethos, noting its acceptance among people of diverse linguistic and religious backgrounds, except for individuals from East Bengal who are yet to fully embrace their Indian identity.

With the Lok Sabha elections looming, Margherita’s statements and strategic efforts underscore the BJP’s concerted push to broaden its electoral base and secure victory in the crucial Dhubri constituency.
