BJP candidate Nihar Ranjan Das has secured a decisive victory in the Dholai constituency, triggering jubilant celebrations among party workers and supporters. Enthusiastic party members, including some who traveled from Delhi, gathered at the ISBT office to mark the occasion with fervor.
Lakhipur MLA Kaushik Rai expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Dholai and acknowledged the dedication of BJP leaders, ministers, and grassroots workers who played pivotal roles in the campaign. Speaking to media, Rai stated, “This victory was anticipated, but I remain deeply thankful to everyone who contributed to this success. While the winning margin is slightly lower than expected, today is a day of celebration. We will take time afterward to analyze the reasons behind the reduced margin.”
The win further cements the BJP’s influence in the Dholai constituency, underscoring the party’s stronghold in the region. However, party leaders emphasized the importance of introspection to refine strategies for future electoral battles.
