Guwahati: A massive fire broke out near the 77th Biannual Session of Asom Sahitya Sabha on the second day of the prestigious event, creating panic among attendees.
The incident occurred at a local shop named “Amish”, which was quickly engulfed by flames.
Witnesses described scenes of chaos as people scrambled to safety, while firefighters battled to contain the blaze.
Despite their immediate response, the inferno completely destroyed the shop within minutes.
No casualties have been reported, and authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
