Guwahati, 8th April: In a tragic incident, bodies of a boy and a 21-year-old girl have been recovered in Tinsukia district of Assam today (April 8).
The bodies of two including that of a girl were found hanging from a tree amidst the lush greenery of the garden in Samdang Tea Estate of Doom Dooma.
The deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Shyam Praja and 21-year-old Sangeeta Bhumij
However, the exact motive behind the incident is yet to be ascertained while initial reports suggest that this might be a case of suicide and there is a possibility of a love affair between the two.
As per the initial investigation, both of them used to reside in the same locality.
Upon receiving information about the incident, Doom Dooma police officials reached the spot and launched an investigation into the matter.
It needs to mention that the bodies have been sent for postmortem to ascertain the exact cause of death.
