Assam: Body of 55-Year-Old Man Recovered from Boko River

Guwahati: In a tragic incident, the body of a 55-year-old man has been discovered in the Boko River in the Rajapara area.

The deceased has been identified as Parla Changma, a resident of Gohal Kona village under the Boko subdivision of Kamrup district.

According to sources, Changma went missing on the evening of May 19 while heading home from the market.

Upon learning of his disappearance, locals immediately searched for him but were unable to locate him.

It is suspected that Changma may have accidentally fallen into the river from the bank without anyone witnessing the incident.

The police were informed about the incident and conducted a search operation with the SDRF.

Despite their efforts, they were initially unable to locate Parla Changma.

However, the dead body was recovered today from the river water near Rajapara.

The Boko police were present at the spot and took the body to the police station for further investigation.
