Guwahati: A dead body of a man has been recovered under Behali Reserve Forest in Biswanath district of Assam on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Gyan Prasad Lam.
According to reports, he was said to be mentally ill and had been missing for a few days.
The 65-year-old man died as a result of an elephant assault, reports claimed.
It may be mentioned that forest officials and police arrived at the scene and the body has been sent for post-mortem.
