Guwahati: A body was recovered on Monday in a puja pandal in Goalpara district of Assm during Durga Puja celebrations.
The deceased has been identified as Pradip Rabha.
According to authorities, the man’s body was recovered with a fan placed over it, raising suspicions that he was electrocuted.
The incident was reported at Babupara in Krishnai area of the district.
Local police arrived on the scene later and removed the body for an autopsy.
