Assam: Bus and Auto Collision in Chabua Leaves Several Injured

Assam: A serious collision between a bus and an auto-rickshaw in Chabua, Assam, on October 10 has left several passengers injured.

The accident occurred when the bus, bearing registration number AS 23CC 3490, traveling from Dibrugarh to Tinsukia, collided with an auto (registration number 23 E 9145) moving in the same direction.

While the exact number of injured remains unclear, among those severely affected were the auto driver, Lalit Das from Rahmaria, and a passenger, Pramila Mura from Sabua.

Both were rushed to Panitola Primary Health Centre for immediate medical care. Due to the severity of their injuries, they have been referred to Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) for further treatment.

Local authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident, and residents have raised concerns about the safety of the road, calling for necessary improvements to prevent future incidents.
