Assam Cabinet Introduces New Examination Bill

Guwahati, 5th February: The Assam cabinet introduced the ‘Examination Bill’ on the first day of the Budget Session of the 15th Legislative Assembly.

As per the contents of the Bill, cheating during examinations will lead to 3 years in jail along with a fine of Rs 10 lakh. The punishment for leaking examination papers will attract a fine of Rs 10 lakh and a 10-year prison term.
