Assam: Cachar DC Mridul Yadav Emphasizes Educational and Infrastructure Improvements During Sonabarighat Visit

Silchar: In a proactive effort to address local educational and infrastructure challenges, Cachar District Commissioner Mridul Yadav visited Sonabarighat M.V. School on Tuesday, where he highlighted his administration’s focus on improving public services.

According to a press release from the Regional Office of Information & Public Relations, Barak Valley Zone, the visit was part of a broader initiative to enhance educational facilities and infrastructure in the region.

During his visit, DC Yadav engaged in discussions with students and staff, carefully reviewing the school’s infrastructure. He inspected classrooms and the kitchen, emphasizing the importance of maintaining high hygiene standards and a conducive learning environment. His visit reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to ensuring students receive education in a safe and well-maintained setting.

Yadav’s attention also turned to the nearby Sonabarighat Bazar Shed, an essential marketplace that has deteriorated over time. Recognizing the shed’s role in supporting local commerce, he instructed officials to prioritize its renovation, noting that the repairs would improve conditions for merchants and shoppers alike, boosting the local economy.
