Assam: Cachar DC Mridul Yadav Reviews Progress of Panchayat and Rural Development Programmes
Silchar: Mridul Yadav, the District Commissioner of Cachar, chaired a review meeting to evaluate the progress of various Panchayat and Rural Development (P&RD) programmes across the district. The meeting, held on October 18, involved discussions with Block Development Officers (BDOs) to ensure timely completion of developmental projects as per government guidelines.
During the session, DC Yadav emphasized the importance of adhering to project timelines and encouraged BDOs to proactively address any challenges impeding the smooth execution of these initiatives. He highlighted the need for quick identification and resolution of issues to ensure the seamless implementation of development schemes throughout the district.
The review meeting was attended by Pranab Kumar Bora, the Chief Executive Officer of Cachar Zila Parishad and Additional District Commissioner, along with other senior officials. Together, they discussed strategies to accelerate ongoing projects and ensure compliance with set targets, reflecting the administration’s commitment to effective rural development.
