Assam: Cachar District Administration Implements Strict Measures for Upcoming Class-III Examinations
Guwahati, 25th September: As the Assam State-Level Recruitment Commission prepares for the upcoming examinations for vacant Class-III posts on September 29, the Cachar district administration has put in place rigorous measures to ensure a smooth, fair, and transparent process. The exams, organized by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA), will evaluate candidates for graduate-level (Paper IV) and HSLC-level (Paper V) positions, including driver roles.
A total of 33,916 candidates will participate in the examinations, with 22,491 registered for Paper IV and 11,425 for Paper V. The exams are scheduled to take place at various centers across Cachar from 9 am to 12 pm.
To maintain the integrity of the examination process and prevent malpractices, Cachar District Commissioner Mridul Yadav has enforced strict prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. These orders prohibit gatherings within a 100-meter radius of examination centers, allowing access only to authorized personnel, including candidates, invigilators, and officials.
In a bid to further deter unfair practices, candidates are explicitly forbidden from bringing mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, or any electronic gadgets into the exam halls. The use of calculators, USB drives, or any materials that could facilitate cheating is also strictly prohibited.
The administration has emphasized that any violation of these directives will result in stringent legal action, underscoring their commitment to upholding the integrity of the examination process in Cachar. These measures aim to foster a fair environment for all candidates, ensuring that the recruitment process is conducted with the highest standards of transparency and fairness.
