Assam: Car Catches Fire on National Highway in Rangia

Guwahati, 10th December: A car traveling on National Highway No 27 in Rangia, Assam, caught fire, resulting in significant damage to the vehicle. The incident occurred at Nonapar in Rangia, with the car’s engine reportedly erupting in flames while on the national highway.

Fortunately, all six occupants, including a woman and a child, managed to exit the car unharmed before the fire intensified.

Although the passengers escaped without injuries, the vehicle sustained extensive damage due to the fire.

Local authorities, including the police, swiftly responded to the incident, conducting a preliminary investigation.

While the exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined, initial suspicions point towards a potential mechanical fault in the car’s engine.
