Assam Chief Minister Takes Dig at Rahul Gandhi Ahead of Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra

Guwahati, 8th January: As the Congress party prepares for its Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Assam on January 18, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took a dig at Rahul Gandhi.

Addressing the media in Dhekiajuli, CM Sarma mentioned that if Rahul Gandhi visits Assam, he will witness the development that was not possible during the tenure of his father, mother, and others.

Sarma highlighted the extensive development of national highways over the years and suggested that Gandhi should appreciate the progress in infrastructure, including landmarks like the Bogibeel bridge and Kolia Bhomora Setu.

Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra is scheduled to enter Assam on January 18, covering a distance of 833 kilometers and passing through 17 districts, including Amguri, Jorhat, Majuli, Dhemaji, Lakhimpur, Tezpur, Kaliabar, Nagaon, Guwahati, Hajo, Mukalmuwa, Senga, Barpeta, Howly, Sarbhog, Manikpur, Bongaigaon, Chapor, Bilasipara, Gauripur, Golakganj, and Bakshirhat.

The Yatra aims to connect with the people and address various issues during its journey.
