Guwahati: Chief Secretary of the State and Chairman of APDCL Jishnu Baruah reviewed the performance of APDCL for the Golaghat district on Wednesday.
At the meeting held at the conference hall of Circuit House, Baruah reviewed the progress of Jal Jeevan Mission, Mission Basundhara, and various other social welfare schemes implemented in the district.
He emphasized the fair and error-free implementation of the schemes and asked the department of PHE to work towards achieving the target of JJM in stipulated timeframe mentioning that it is a flagship programme of the Government of India to provide Functional Household Tap Connection to every rural household by 2024.
