Guwahati: Assam Police rescued two children who had been kidnapped from Mahua in the Vaishali district of Bihar and taken to Gotanagar in Guwahati on March 18.
According to reports, the father of the children and the accused, Sudhir Kumar had a business relationship before they split up a year ago over a disagreement.
Reportedly, Sudhir kidnapped both of the kids over a dispute about a business.
The two kids ages 9 and 4 years were kidnapped while they were playing outside their home in Guwahati’s Gotanagar area on March 17.
The father of the children was identified as Madan Rai.
