Assam CM briefs DCs on Upcoming Infrastructure Development Projects In the State

Guwahati: The chief minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday chaired a meeting over a conference call with the District Commissioners (DC) of 12 districts of the state.

The DCs were given an update by the Assam chief minister on the state’s upcoming development initiatives.

Taking to twitter, Sarma said, “Our govt constantly strives to reach the fruits of development to all sections of people in every part of the state. In a VC with DCs of 12 districts, briefed them on infrastructure development projects to be launched across Assam in December.”

Himanta Biswa Sarma also participated in a video conference with representatives of the Cachar district administration to discuss the preparations for the cabinet meeting that will take place in Silchar on November 29 on Saturday.
