Guwahati: Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday distributed appointment letters to about 39,019 youths.
The appointment letters were handed over a function held at Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra in Guwahati.
According to Assam Government, the appointments were made as a part of the State Government’s commitment to providing government jobs to 1 lakh youth in Assam.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Sarma said that the present State Government has already recruited about 39,019 youths out of 1 Lakh appointments in a very fair and transparent manner.
