Assam CM Encourages Youth Participation in Government Jobs and Development Initiatives in Dima Hasao
Guwahati, 3rd Jan: Assam Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, rallied the young men and women of Dima Hasao at a public meeting held at Diyungbra JB Hagjer School playground.
Urging them to apply for recently announced state government jobs under the Hills tribe quota, CM Sarma emphasized the opportunities available for the region’s youth.
During the address, CM Sarma also encouraged the public to participate actively in the upcoming council polls, highlighting the significance of large voter turnout.
He reiterated the government’s commitment to the development of Dima Hasao, announcing a budget of Rs 25 crore for the construction of roads into the region’s interiors.
In a bid to address power disparities, the chief minister assured that villages currently lacking electricity would soon experience its benefits.
Furthermore, CM Sarma pledged to enhance educational infrastructure by constructing a college, emphasizing the government’s dedication to fostering growth and opportunities for the young generation in Dima Hasao.
