Assam CM flagged off five mobile blood donation vans in Guwahati

Guwahati, 7th November: In a significant initiative, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma flagged off five mobile blood donation vans from Lok Sewa Bhawan in Guwahati on November 7.

Dr. Sarma expressed his satisfaction at the launch, highlighting the crucial role that these blood donation vans will play in ensuring the timely availability of blood for those in need.

This initiative is set to make a positive impact on the healthcare system in the region, enhancing access to life-saving blood donations.

Earlier, Sarma on 30 Nov 2022 launched two blood donation vehicles in Silchar Red Cross Hospital.

The chief minister launched the vehicles prior to his return to Guwahati from Silchar after the cabinet meeting that was held for the first time in Barak Valley.
