Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Commends Minister’s Initiatives for Road Safety Awareness
Guwahati, 22nd November: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma commends Minister Parimal Suklabaidya for his innovative initiative to promote road safety.
Taking to platform X, CM Sarma expresses his appreciation by writing, “পথ সুৰক্ষা, জীৱন ৰক্ষা. Great to see this on ground effort to bring citizens at forefront of road safety. Collective action by each one of us is the only way to end the menace of road accidents. It has already destroyed too many families.”
Minister Parimal Suklabaidya undertook an impressive 250-kilometer journey from Guwahati to South Salmara over the past three days as part of the ‘Path Suraksha Jan Andolan Bike Rally.’
Continuing his commitment to the cause, the minister plans to ride to Abhayapuri, Bongaigaon, engaging with the public to raise awareness on road safety.
In an extensive awareness program, the minister aims to cover a total of 3,000 kilometers, visiting all constituencies of Assam on his bike.
The ‘Path Suraksha Jan Andolan Bike Rally’ stands as a testament to the dedication to promoting road safety and fostering collective responsibility among citizens.
