Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Distributes Appointment Letters to Selected Candidates of PHED and DoHUA Departments
Guwahati, 26th September: In a significant step towards fulfilling the promise of providing government jobs to the youth of Assam, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma distributed appointment letters to selected candidates from the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) and the Department of Housing and Urban Affairs (DoHUA). The event marked another milestone in the government’s commitment to creating employment opportunities for young professionals in the state.
Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, the Chief Minister shared, “I am distributing appointment letters to selected candidates of PHED and DoHUA deptts. We are steadily moving towards giving 2 lakh Govt jobs to our youth.” This statement reflects the government’s ongoing efforts to meet its target of generating 2 lakh jobs for the youth of Assam across various sectors.
The distribution ceremony saw a significant number of deserving candidates receive their much-awaited appointment letters, a step that will not only bolster the state’s workforce but also contribute to the development of critical infrastructure and urban management through PHED and DoHUA.
