Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Inaugurates Sri Sri Madhab Dev Kalakshetra in Narayanpur
Guwahati, 10 May: Assam chief minister inaugurated Sri Sri Madhab Dev Kalakshetra in Narayanpur, part of the Lakhimpur district to commemorate the second term of the alliance government led by Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday afternoon. On around 45 bighas of land, the Kalakshetra was constructed at a cost of Rs. 53.5 crore.
After viewing the artists’ display at the Kalakshetra, CM Sarma urged everyone to make Madhab Dev Kalakshetra one of North Assam’s most alluring locations.
While addressing the crowd at Narayanpur Higher Secondary School, he said, “The purpose of all religions is to pave the way for the liberation of human society.”
CM Sarma said the Kalakshetra would shine in the cultural sphere of the country. He said, “Mahapurush Madhab Dev was a unique disciple of a unique Guru. This Kalakshetra will shine in the cultural sphere of the country.”
Additionally, CM Sarma pledged to construct an artist community that could house 200 devotees.
Even though there are still some unfinished construction projects, Kalakshetra will be accessible to the general public on Tirubhav Tithi of Madhab Dev. The Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra Society will administer the Kalakshetra and it will have a cutting-edge light and sound showroom.
According to CM Sarma, Kalakshetra would glow like a bright star.
