Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Initiates Rs 168 Crore Welfare Projects in Karbi Anglong

Guwahati, 8th January: Assam’s Chief Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, is set to inaugurate a series of welfare projects worth Rs 168 crore in Karbi Anglong.

The foundation stones for 13 ambitious projects will be laid, covering diverse departments, including the Extension of Kajir Ronghangpi VIP Guest House, Sertalin Auditorium with a seating capacity of 3000, Beautification of Langkung Phang Fishery, Rangsina Sarpo Ahongjai Permanent Open Stage, Beautification of Kuleng Abi Fishery, Construction of Rongbong Artu, Karbi Capital Complex, and more.

These initiatives align with the commitments made during last year’s election campaign for the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, reflecting Dr. Sarma’s dedication to fulfilling electoral promises and uplifting the community.

The inauguration marks another significant step towards realizing the vision of a developed and prosperous Assam under Dr. Sarma’s leadership.
