Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Lays Foundation for New ISKCON Temple in Dibrugarh, Reaffirms Commitment to Justice in Online Scam Investigation
Guwahati, 5th Sepetember: In a significant stride towards enhancing spiritual and cultural life in Assam, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma laid the foundation stone for a new ISKCON temple in Dibrugarh. Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister highlighted the importance of the temple as a future hub for spirituality in Upper Assam, expressing confidence in its timely construction.
“I consider myself fortunate to be part of this sacred moment. The ISKCON temple will soon stand as a beacon of spiritual growth for the people of Dibrugarh and the surrounding region,” Sarma remarked during the foundation stone ceremony.
Beyond the spiritual discourse, CM Sarma addressed the state’s efforts to crack down on an online trading scam that has rocked Assam. He revealed that over 30 individuals had been apprehended and vowed to continue pursuing justice. “We are taking decisive action to expose those involved in this scam. My government is committed to ensuring that justice prevails,” Sarma said, reinforcing his dedication to accountability.
The event underscored Sarma’s vision for a balanced approach to governance, promoting both moral development and civic responsibility within the state.
