Assam CM: HSLC Exam Results To Be Declared by May End

Guwahati, 14 May: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stated that the much-anticipated High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination results for 2023 would be released by the end of May. While briefing media persons on Sunday, CM Sarma said, “The Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) has taken all measures to declare the HSLC results by the end of May this year.”

Notably, the results will be released on the official website – sebaonline.org.

On the other hand, the results for the Grade IV posts in the health department will be released on May 16 (Tuesday), according to CM Sarma. The appointment letters for the position will be handed over at the Khanapara Field in Guwahati on May 26.

Every year, the SEBA administers the HSLC exams in Assam which are the equivalent of the board exams for the CBSE 10th standard. Following reports of paper leak events at numerous exam centres throughout the state, the HSLC exams were held this year amidst a number of difficulties.

The HSLC exams were scheduled to start on March 3 and end on March 20. The exam was postponed till April 1 because of the exams’ rescheduling in response to instances involving paper leaks.

After a few days following the Assam SEBA HSLC result 2023 announcement schools will hand out the original mark sheets and certificates.
