Guwahati: Two blood donation vehicles have been launched by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday at Silchar Red Cross Hospital.
The chief minister launched the vehicles before departing from Silchar for Guwahati following the inaugural cabinet meeting in Barak Valley on Tuesday.
Notably, the Indian Red Cross Society gave the Silchar Red Cross Hospital two ambulances to use for blood collection. The chief minister today unveiled an ambulance that would be used to save lives and collect blood from various locations.
