Assam CM meets Union Health Minister to Discuss Several Issues of State
Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma met Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Saturday at Mandaviya’s official residence in New Delhi.
The two ministers spoke on matters pertaining to Assam’s health sector.
The state government is taking a number of measures to address health concerns that have arisen as a result of the recent floods, CM Sarma informed the health minister.
The two ministers also talked about how to make sure that the Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana is carried out correctly.
Informing about the meeting through twitter, CM Sarma wrote, “Met Hon’ble Union Minister, Health & Family Welfare Dr @mansukhmandviya at his official residence in New Delhi. We discussed issues related to Assam, especially measures taken by our government to tackle health conditions during and post-flood scenario in the affected districts.”
