Assam CM Mourns the demise of Satradhikar Devanandadev Goswami

Guwahati, 24th March: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed profound sorrow over the demise of Devanandadev Goswami, the revered Satradhikar of Narowa Satra of Batadrawa Thaan.

The chief minister remarked that the passing of the esteemed satradhikar, a humble figure in the Sattriya culture, who dedicatedly promoted the Nava Vaishnava religion established by Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardeva, is a significant loss to the national ethos.

He offered prayers for the eternal peace of the departed soul of the master artist.
