Guwahati, 30th July: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has extended financial support to a family grappling with severe medical issues. The assistance comes following a meeting with Mrigakhi Mech, whose children Vaibhav and Hiyasvi are battling critical health conditions—cardiac issues and cancer, respectively.
In response to the family’s plight, Sarma pledged Rs 5 lakh to help with the medical expenses. In a tweet, the Chief Minister expressed his heartfelt wishes for the children’s speedy recovery, saying, “I pray to almighty for their quick recovery. Get well soon Vaibhav and Hiyasvi!” He also announced plans to visit the children, stating, “Mama will meet you both soon.”
