Assam CM Sarma Holds Two Separate Meetings with Officials
Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma met with officials in two different settings on Sunday to discuss Guwahati’s artificial flood-free status and the hiring of Grade III and IV personnel.
A brief downpour causes artificial flooding and waterlogging in numerous areas of Guwahati, which affects commuters’ quality of life.
So, in order to take the necessary actions, such as cleaning and de-silting the entire network of drains, CM Sarma met with Central agencies and stakeholders to discuss how to make Guwahati free from artificial floods.
Senior representatives of the State Level Recruitment Commission met separately with CM Sarma to review the hiring procedure for Grade III and IV workers.
He granted the go-ahead for the officials to carry out the hiring procedure fairly and openly.
