Assam: CM Sarma to Inaugurate Construction Skill Training Centre in Gogamukh, Dhemaji

Guwahati, 6th February: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is set to inaugurate the Construction Skill Training Centre at Gogamukh, Dhemaji, on February 7, aiming to empower registered construction workers with advanced skills.

The center’s objectives include enhancing the skills of registered construction workers, enabling their progression to supervisory roles, and integrating them seamlessly into the industry with modern skills and technology.

The inauguration ceremony will witness the presence of state leadership figures such as Jayanta Mallabaruah, Dr. Ranoj Pegu, and Sanjoy Kishan, along with political figures like Pradan Baruah, Bhubon Pegu, and Paramananda Chayengia, highlighting the initiative’s importance in the state’s development agenda.

Focused on creating a skilled workforce and addressing youth unemployment, the center will train unemployed individuals, enhancing their employability in the construction sector. This initiative aligns with the government’s commitment to skill development and job creation in Assam.
