Assam CM secured 7th position in Survey

Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma secured 7th position in the country, a survey revealed today ahead of panchayat elections.

According to  Mood of the Nation (MOTN) survey conducted by leading media conglomerate, ‘India Today’ CM Sarma is at the 7th position with 56.6% votes.

Meanwhile, Naveen Patnaik, the Chief Minister of Odisha, has been adjudged as the Number. 1 Chief Minister with 71% in the country once again followed by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee (69.9%) and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin (67.5%).

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray received 61.8 percent of the vote, followed by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan (61.1 percent) and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal (57.9%).

Bhupesh Baghel, the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, was voted the eighth most popular CM in the MOTN poll, with 51.4 percent of the vote.

In the India Today Group-Karvy Insights Mood of the Nation (MOTN) January 2021 poll, Naveen Patnaik was named the best performing chief minister at the state level.

On the other hand, as per the Morning Consult Political Intelligence’s global rating study, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has topped the list of most popular international leaders. PM Modi was voted the most popular leader in the poll, with a 71% approval rating.
