Assam CM: State Govt to Appoint 45,000 Posts on May 25

Guwahati, 23 May: State government will appoint 45,000 posts on May 25. In this regard, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “We are organizing the appointment ceremony at 3 pm on May 25. Arrangements have been made for 45,000 appointments. But the results have been retained as the health check-up of divyangs has not passed. In view of this, the number of persons appointed will be 44,703. ’’

“Of these, 11,048 are in Class III, 13739 in Grade IV, 1279 in Assam Police, 553 in Assam Police Radio Organisation, 39 in Fire and Emergency Service, 307 in Home Guard, 301 in Jail, 222 in Excise Department and 222 in Excise. In Assam, 231 of the martyred family of police will be recruited. A total of 5281 appointments in the health department. In the education department, college professors and 704 students of Grade III-IV will be appointed. Out of this, 421 assistant professors will be appointed. The results of the examination of assistant professors and staff of college teachers will be available on the portal today at 4 pm. 2332 posts of secondary teachers will be appointed. No outsider has found the appointment of teachers this time and the news published in the paper is not correct. ’’

Chief Minister said, if all this happens, 88,000 appointments will be completed. Additional list for Grade III and IV recruitment will be out in the month of July. And after this, 89,000 jobs will be done. The remaining 11,000 jobs will be made. We will recruit one lakh 15 thousand against one lakh, said Dr Sharma. It has been decided to give additional advertisements for another 22,765 posts soon. There will be 2500 posts in electricity board, 2500 third Grade posts in agriculture department, 2000 posts in police, 600 posts in health department, 2519 in third grade in various departments, 1347 in fourth grade, 1000 in panchayat rural development department, 10219 posts in education department.

“Candidates must come and enter Khanapara at 2:30 pm on May 25. At three o’clock, the Union Home Minister will distribute the appointment. This time the pandal has not been made by us. Government money is not designed to reduce expenditure. Candidates will bring identity card and have to join the job within 15 days,” said Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Those getting new jobs can be transferred by the government to a different department if required. An ordinance has been promulgated in this regard. This process of transfer will not be applicable to old employees.
