During the ceremonial launch of the mission, last year Chief Minister Sarma announced that a total of Rs 225 crore would be spent on its implementation, adding that the effort will allow the state to restore all lost land records.
The three components of the mission are- Purification of land records in a mission mode, polygon survey of 672 non-cadastral villages that have yet to be surveyed, and re-survey of 18789 cadastral villages in 27 districts using hybrid methods.

The application includes issues on mutation, partition, reclassification, allotment, conversion, name deletion, mobile number updation, name correction, and correction in regards to land-related matters.
