Assam CM Unveils Rs 1370 Crore Welfare Projects in Sonitpur

Guwahati, 10th March: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma spearheaded a groundbreaking event on March 10, unveiling a series of transformative welfare projects valued at Rs 1370 crore in Sonitpur district.

Under the banner of the Vikas Yatra, CM Sarma inaugurated the Borsola Model residential school and laid the cornerstone for a monumental 50 MW solar project, alongside other pivotal initiatives in Sonitpur.

Addressing a captivated audience at a public gathering in Sonitpur, CM Sarma fervently dedicated these welfare endeavors to the populace of the region, underscoring their profound impact on education, healthcare, and energy infrastructure.

CM Sarma, buoyed by the monumental scope of these endeavors, passionately articulated his belief that these concerted government efforts would catalyze tangible advancements in the region’s educational standards, healthcare accessibility, and energy sustainability.

In a testament to his unwavering commitment to progress, CM Sarma embarks on a trajectory of dedication, with plans to inaugurate additional transformative projects across four other districts today, encompassing Majuli, Tinsukia, Baksa, and Udalguri.
