Assam: Congress Launches Nationwide Guarantee Card Distribution Program in Guwahati
Guwahati, 7th April: The Congress party is set to kickstart its “Ghar Ghar Guarantee Card” distribution program today at Panjabari in Guwahati, with former minister and Congress leader, Jitendra Singh, overseeing the event.
Announcing the initiative, Jitendra Singh stated, “Ghar ghar guarantee card distribution will start from today in Assam.” He emphasized the party’s commitment to fulfilling its promises, citing similar initiatives successfully implemented in other states like Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Karnataka.
Addressing the media, Jitendra Singh highlighted the significance of the guarantee cards, stating, “Each word that is written in this guarantee card is what the people of India have asked us to write.” He contrasted Congress’s approach with what he termed as “Modi’s false guarantees,” asserting the authenticity and people-centric nature of Congress’s promises.
Dispelling fear in politics, Jitendra Singh asserted, “Politics can’t be done with fear. Any leader who will get scared, will get dead.” Responding to concerns regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), he reassured the public that the guarantee cards include a dedicated chapter addressing the concerns of the northeastern states regarding CAA.
