Assam: Congress Leader Criticizes Assam CM’s Handling of Kaziranga Rhino Issue

Guwahati, 26th March: During a press conference, Congress leader Rakibul Hussain took a swipe at Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, asserting his resilience by stating that not even 50 Himantas could deter him.

Hussain responded to Sarma’s remarks regarding Kaziranga rhinos, hinting at past interactions with the Chief Minister. He claimed that recalling Sarma’s actions could spell trouble for both the government and Sarma himself.

Recounting a previous encounter, Hussain mentioned receiving a letter from Sarma during Tarun Gogoi’s tenure as CM. He hinted at the contents of the letter, suggesting involvement in addressing the Kaziranga rhino issue. Despite initial cooperation, Hussain implied disappointment in Sarma’s follow-through.

Regarding AIUDF chief Badruddin Ajmal, Hussain alleged Sarma’s efforts to ensure Ajmal’s victory, speculating strategic maneuvers after the initial election phases.

In a confident conclusion, Hussain asserted his strength, declaring that not even multiple iterations of Sarma could deter him from his path.
