Assam Congress MLA Attributes Resignations to Leader Disagreements, Remains Optimistic for Elections
Guwahati, 20th March: Amidst a recent wave of resignations from the Assam Congress party, MLA Abdur Rashid Mandal attributes the departures not to inherent problems within the party but to disagreements with specific leaders. Mandal highlighted that grievances against certain leaders have led to the resignations, a trend not unique to Congress but observed across various political parties including the BJP.
Despite the challenges posed by these resignations, Mandal expressed confidence in the party’s leadership, noting that high-ranking officials are actively addressing the situation and working towards solutions. Despite the setbacks, Mandal remains optimistic about the party’s prospects in the upcoming elections, anticipating an improved performance compared to 2019.
In addition, Mandal emphasized that leaders facing allegations will face consequences, underscoring the party’s commitment to accountability and integrity.
